Byron bay & Brisbane
Hey y'all I figured out how to post pictures again so now I'll update more often.
So back to the roadtrip, after the uneventful night in Newcastle we left for Byron bay, 8 hours or so up north.
We stayed in a fun hostel and shared a room with 2 English boys who we got along with very well.

Spent a few nice days at the beach, went drinking with the boys, bought a bikini for 50$ (originally 190$ omg)... Byron bay was definitely worth visiting. On the last night at the hostel they held karaoke which I won by singing Let it go completely sober and alone. I got a 30$ gift certificate for it.
After Byron we went to Brisbane, a city made for us.
We spent one day hugging koalas (they smell surprisingly good), feeding kangaroos and seeing other Australian animals.
Another day were spent with some friends that I met in Japan. One of them has a friend who works with snakes and they were showing different deadly snakes in her living room lol. (The one around my neck was harmless)
The rest of the time in Brisbane was spent on shopping and trying to find farm work. We couldn't find any and that's how we ended up here in bundaberg, but more about that next time!
